The fourth animal to be profiled in the 2019 edition of the 12 Strays of Christmas is Gabby. This happy six-month-old Jack Russell puppy has lots of energy to burn.

She loves going to the beach, swimming and playing catch. Gabby likes other dogs and is still deciding on cats.

Pet Tip No. 4:

Some dogs love greeting people at the door; some don’t. Make sure a pet has a quiet place to go.

Watch children and make sure they are not making the pet uncomfortable. Watch for signs like turning away, whale eye, yawning, panting and cowering.

The pet will be happier being less stressed and everyone will be safer.
