The P.E.I. Humane Society (PEIHS) has launched a virtual kitten shower and donation drive from May 4-15.

Every year, the PEIHS receives a flood of close to 500 mother cats and kittens during “kitten season” from May to November.

The kitten shower will feature educational information around fostering kittens, how to reduce unwanted litters and what to do if you find stray kittens.

The P.E.I. Humane Society's virtual kitten shower will be held May 4-15.

The PEIHS expects that in the coming months, fundraising efforts will be significantly affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19 strain).

The shelter needs help – now more than ever.

The PEIHS is appealing to the community to support operations through fostering, adoption and making monetary and wish-list donations.

Donations can be made online at peihumanesociety.com.
