The Prince Edward Island Genealogical Society annual general meeting will be held Sept. 26, 2-4 p.m., at Park Royal United Church Hall, 11 Christie Dr., Charlottetown.
The guest speaker will be Jill MacMicken-Wilson, provincial archivist from the P.E.I. Public Archives and Records Office. She will share her experience with the monumental task of moving their collections this past year, give a glimpse into what the new location has to offer and highlight changes/additions to the collections and how to access them.
All are welcome, and admission is free. In order to respect public health guidelines those attending are asked to wear a mask, provide contact information upon arrival and sanitize before entering the hall. Refreshments will not be available, but people are welcome to bring their own beverage.
