SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — The City of Summerside invites nominations for its annual heritage and culture awards recognizing individuals or groups who have made a significant contribution in the field of culture and/or heritage promotion, education or preservation in 2019.
Nomination forms are available at MacNaught History Centre and Archives, 75 Spring St., Summerside, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Request forms by email or find out more at [email protected].
Completed and signed nominations must be received at 75 Spring St. by 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24.
Nominations may be made in the following categories: heritage activities awards; cultural activities awards; natural heritage activity, volunteer of the year; youth volunteer of the year; publication of the year; award of honour.
The awards presentation is open to the public and will take place at the Mayor’s Heritage Tea at City Hall on Friday, Feb. 21, 1:30 p.m. All are welcome.
