CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Popular Canadian singer-songwriter and Summerside native Nathan Wiley will be playing the Pourhouse in Charlottetown with his full, four-piece band Saturday, Jan. 18.
A three-time ECMA and five-time Music P.E.I. award winning artist, Wiley first earned acclaim for his 2002 debut, Bottom Dollar, He followed up that release with High Low two years later.
His blend of classic sounds with a modern, slightly world-weary perspective struck a chord with listeners, as songs full of subtle melodies and lyrics addressing those unquenchable yearnings inside all of us wormed their way into their ears.
"It’s always a special treat when Nathan Wiley comes to town folks," says promoter Pat Deighan.
As an added bonus Wiley will be backed up with a full band consisting of James Phillips along with Dale and Tom DesRoche.
Tickets are available at trailside.ca, Back Alley Music or by calling 902-394-3626.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with music starting at 8 p.m.
The Pourhouse is located at 189 Great George St. above the Old Triangle.
