Members of HMCS Charlottetown visit P.E.I. library

Members of HMCS Charlottetown visited the ship's namesake city to meet with the community, Dec. 20-22. Pictured are commanding officer Chris Rochon, left, and leading seaman Mike MacKinnon at the Confederation Centre Public Library where a bell from the former HMCS Charlottetown II now rests. The 25th anniversary of the current HMCS Charlottetown's commissioning is next year on Sept. 9, 2020, which its crew members hope to acknowledge in some special way. "We're one of the few ships that actually got commissioned in our home city," Rochon said.
