CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Lauded for his skills as a ragtime and traditional jazz pianist, Max Keenlyside will be playing the Trailside Music Hall in Charlottetown on Sunday, Feb. 21.
Keenlyside has performed for CBC and has headlined at festivals across North America. A graduate of the Holland College School of Performing Arts, he went on to study classical and jazz piano at Mount Allison University.
His debut album, KeenlyStride, was met with critical acclaim and his second release, Mostly Max, puts an emphasis on his own piano compositions.
His latest release is titled Invincible Syncopations, featuring the piano solo works of Vincent Matthew Johnson.
