KENSINGTON, P.E.I. — As the old saying goes, all good things must come to an end.

And that is the case with the CN 100 Locomotion Tour.

The musical journey through story and song has covered the Island from tip to tip with stops at stations in Elmira, Tignish, Montague, Borden, Charlottetown and now the final stop in Kensington on Aug. 20 to join in the Harvest Festival Celebrations. The Locomotion show is sponsored by CN Railways in celebration of their 100th Anniversary in Canada.

The final performance will take place at the Credit Union Arena from 6-8 p.m.

Admission is free with donations being accepted for the Kensington and Area Minor Baseball program.

Music will be provided by the Locomotion Show Band, featuring Island musicians Kendall Docherty, Niall MacKay, Peter Burke, Heartz Godkin, Brian Knox and Brian Blacquiere.

The musical selections are woven together with stories of the days when the trains steamed through the country side of P.E.I., delivered by Alan Buchanan, a storyteller from the popular group the Four Tellers.
