I hope your Wi-Fi connection lasts through the snowstorms, because winter has the best TV lineups. Here’s what premiered this month and what’s still to come:

The Bachelor Season 24 on ABC Jan. 6

“The Bachelor” Season 24, starring pilot, Peter Weber, premiered on January 6 and the most SHOCKING thing happened — I didn’t watch it. In the cold, dark, depths of winter I may change my mind but I just cannot bring myself to care if the most average-looking 28-year-old who lives with his parents finds love. Six million viewers disagree with me.

If you just emerged from under your cable-free rock, “The Bachelor” is a dating competition show where 25 or more women compete to become the fiancée of one man. They all have lip injections and happened to own 14 cocktail dresses in various jewel tones. There is drama, there is heartbreak, there is occasionally true love and I swear this show will outlive us all.

Schitt’s Creek Season 6 on Pop TV Jan. 7

The Canadian sitcom “Schitt’s Creek” follows the Rose family – wealthy businessman, Johnny (Eugene Levy), his wife and former soap star, Moira (Catherine O’Hara) and their adult children David (Dan Levy) and Alexis (Annie Murphy). The family lose their fortune and are forced to move to Schitt’s Creek, a property they bought as a joke back in 1991. There is no shortage of comedic relief in this riches-to-rags story. The series was nominated for a Critic’s Choice Television Award for Best Comedy Series and an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series.

Cheer on Netflix Jan. 8

The new Netflix docu-series “Cheer” gives a behind-the-scenes look at the Navarro College cheer team, one of the most competitive and nationally ranked squads in the U.S. Get a closer look at the athleticism, the injuries, and the lives of the teammates. A deeper “Bring It On”? I’m already horizontal, eating chips and hovering over the play button.

The Outsider HBO Jan. 12

Stephen King’s novel, “The Outsider”, was adapted into a TV series that is every bit as dark, terrifying, and twisty as you’d expect. Beloved little league coach, Terry Maitland (Jason Bateman) is accused of murdering an 11-year-old boy. Evidence seems to point directly at him, but he was recorded at a conference 50 miles away at the exact time of death.

Shrill Season 2 on Hulu Jan. 24

“Shrill” was adapted from the novel, “Shrill: Notes from a Loud Woman” by Lindy West. The series follows Annie (Aidy Bryant), an overweight young journalist who wants to change her life — but not her body. Annie tackles bad boyfriends, sick parents, career woes, and self-esteem in this hilarious and relatable series.

Justin Bieber: Seasons on YouTube Jan. 27

Singer, Justin Bieber, announced he will be premiering a 10-episode series on YouTube, airing every Monday and Wednesday beginning Jan. 27. Justin took to Instagram to announce he was diagnosed with Lyme disease and the series will explain how the illness affected him and his career. I’ve never been able to get past the time he peed in a janitor’s bucket, but I’m a sucker for a YouTube series (Shane Dawson anyone?).

The weather outside may be frightful, but the shows streaming are so delightful.
