POOLES CORNER, P.E.I. — Colleen MacPhee, the voice of Rita MacNeil in the popular group Lady Singers of Our Century, will be joined by Jacinta MacDonald, a longtime friend, for the Kaylee Hall’s tribute to MacNeil this evening.

Together they will present a harmony of depth and smoothness, that leaves the listener with an appetite for more.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

MacDonald, the opening act for the popular show “A Tribute to Rita MacNeil”, has won talent shows and performed at Country Music Week in Hamilton, Ont., as well as at the Canadian National Exhibition in Vancouver, B.C. She is also featured on the Christmas album, “Stars of the Island”, and has recorded her own album, “Good Old Maritimes”.

MacPhee was the opening act for Wayne Wayne Rostad’s “On The Road Again” and is involved in the music ministry at her church.

MacDonald will be singing the most requested songs of Patsy Cline, Reba MacEntire and the Dixie Chicks.

MacPhee portrays MacNeil in the popular women's group “A Tribute to the Lady Singers of our Century”, impressing audiences with her likeness to MacNeil’s voice. She will sing favourite MacNeil songs, as well as the most requested one of all, “The Working Man”.

The Kaylee Hall is located at Poole's Corner near the roundabout. There will be a 50/50 draw as well as canteen service. Tickets are $15 at the door.
