HIGH SCHOOL REPORTS: New staff members join city high school

Colonel Gray High School

Colonel Gray extends a big welcome to new staff – Jennifer Gill (administrative assistant), Ashley Beamish (youth worker), teachers Danielle Arsenault (math and science), Natalie Doyle (biology and science), Catherine MacDonald (French immersion), Kelly Minnis (vice-principal), Nicole McKeigan (biology), Greg Sheppard (science and chemistry) and Hannah Woodworth (math).

Teacher Rebecca Branton and husband Steven welcomed their third child, Beau, on Aug. 12, weighing 9 lbs. 2 oz.

Also, teacher Laura Lindsay and husband Jason celebrated the birth of baby Emma on May 21, a sister to Evie.

Today, Grade 10 students will have their own special orientation day. On Sept. 9, students from all grades will return for a much-anticipated 2020-21 school year.

Looking ahead, student photos will be taken at the school on Sept. 23-24 by Life Touch.
