At lunch on Jan. 20, Vrac Monsieur, the owner of Charlottetown’s new zero waste store (next to Children’s Place) will be guest speaker for the Environmental Club. He will be talking about things everyone can do to reduce waste in day-to-day life. The lecture is open to 50 people.

Beginning Jan. 21, students from Colonel Gray and Charlottetown Rural will be part of an art show at The Guild called The Young Masters. The opening reception will be Jan. 29 at 7 p.m., with everyone welcome.

Final exams/assessments for first semester are Jan. 25-28, following Block A through D schedule. Jan. 29 will be the possible storm date, if needed.

There will be no classes for students on Feb. 1, due to a high school administrative day.

The High School Reports feature runs in The Guardian on Mondays during the school year. All Island high schools are welcome to send in contributions. However, before doing so, either a student or staff member must contact Carolyn Drake at 902-629-6000, ext. 6036 for information on content and deadlines.
