Free outdoor movies and music return to P.E.I.'s Victoria Park

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. —

Free outdoor movies and a night of music will be offered over four straight nights in late August at the Victoria Park Cultural Pavilion.

The Victoria Park Sunset Series begins Wednesday, Aug. 28 with “Bohemian Rhapsody” (Rated PG-13). The story of the legendary rock band Queen is co-hosted by PEERS Alliance. 

On Thursday, Aug. 29, the crime comedy “The Hustle” (Rated PG-13) staring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson will play on the outdoor screen. 

On Friday, Aug. 30, there will be a screening of “Secret Life of Pets 2” (Rated PG).

All movies will begin at 8:30 p.m. A blankets-only area will be identified on-site to ensure optimal viewing for all. Concessions will be available for sale on-site (cash only).

The fun continues on Saturday, Aug. 31 with Coastal Vibes 2.0, an evening of music featuring a talented line-up of musicians at the cultural pavilion.
