BRACKLEY, P.E.I. — The final show in the Ceilidh in the City Live at the Brackley Drive In Series is Sept. 26.

Although the 10th season celebrations did not look exactly as planned, ceilidh organizers have been pleased to bring the music and stories of P.E.I. back on stage and to their loyal supporters.

Two of the biggest names in the ceilidh music scene on P.E.I will be on stage as the final special guests. Fiddler Cynthia MacLeod, the former host of the highly popular Brackley Beach Ceilidhs, grew up just down the road in Harrington. She is a lively, skilled fiddler who can sit down with any group and play traditional fiddle tunes as well as add breaks to any song.

Eddy Quinn, host of the long-running Close to the Ground Concert Series, is a down-home favourite, singing familiar songs as well as some he has written over a more than 20-year career with bandmates from Fiddlers Sons.
