CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The Calgary-based brutal tech-death metal band Widow’s Peak will perform at Baba’s Lounge in Charlottetown on Sept. 9.

It’s part of the band’s ‘Crusty Cross Canada Cruise Tour’.

The band is touring to support its debut EP “Graceless’’, released in April 2018.

Joining them on this part of the tour will be Calgary’s Detherous.

While many metal bands find inspiration from supernatural sources, myths and legends, Widow’s Peak find influence from true-life horror, from the depths of cruelty, terror and pain. The band is described as an aural catalog of carnage, a metallic mausoleum of pain and a sonic symphony of suffering.
