SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Trinity United Church, located at 90 Spring St., is set host to the Country Legends "Men of the Century" show on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2-4 p.m.
Over the past three years this show has been touring across the Island with shows from Souris to O'Leary and all points in between. This musical tribute honours some of the great male country music singers of the past 100 years.
With a casual, laid-back atmosphere, some of the Island's best known musicians portray four of the greatest country music legends of all time. Artists portrayed include Johnny Cash, performed by Kendall Docherty, Merle Haggard, performed by Jimi Platts, Ronnie Milsap, performed by Peter Burke and Gene Watson, performed by Larry Campbell. Back-up musicians are Brian Knox, drums, and Heartz Godkin, bass guitar.
The concert will serve as a fundraiser for Trinity United Church and its ongoing ministry to the community. Advance tickets are available at the church office at a cost of $10. They will also be available at the door for $12.
