Peggy Clinton and Jordan LeClair bring their ceilidh to the Souris Live stage on Sunday, July 21.
Also performing at the newly renovated Souris Legion, 56 Main St., will be Michael Richard and Ben Mitsuk.
Clinton who is a well-known Island singer/songwriter from Souris, says that the group is looking forward to performing on the stage on Sunday.
“I have performed many times on the Souris live stage, but I am looking forward to having this group join me,” she said. “The dynamics are perfect because we all love to showcase our talents, but we also love getting to know our audiences and keeping them entertained all night long with some down-home stories, jokes and whatever else that might rise up during the show.”
LeClair does a fine impersonation of the one and only Stompin’ Tom Connors with his unique rendition of “Luke’s Guitar”. LeClair will be on his game when it comes to delivering songs of many East Coast artists such as Stan Rodgers, Great Big Sea, Jimmy Rankin and so much more.
“We are all looking forward to bringing our show to Souris. It’s gonna be a great time!” LeClair said.
Mitsuk and Richard are also no strangers to the stage, and all four performers are looking forward to an evening of music, laughter and fun.
Advance tickets ($15 per person) can be purchased at the Souris Legion, online at www.eventbrite.ca or at the door. Doors open at 7 p.m. with a start time of 7:30 p.m.
