CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The City of Charlottetown, in partnership with the Island Storm, is reminding the public about the Capital New Year celebrations in advance of a New Year’s Eve matchup against the St. John’s Edge.
The Capital New Year Family Tailgate Party will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 5-6:45 p.m., at the Eastlink Centre on Kensington Road.
Activities are free to attend, and game tickets are not required for entry into the family tailgate party.
Island Storm players and staff will be serving complimentary hot dogs, drinks and dessert to all who attend, while supplies last.
In addition, there will be bouncy castles, face-painting, a photo booth and other family-friendly activities.
Live music will be played by DJ Dekz, and a pyrotechnic show will take place at the end of the tailgate party and kick off the Storm game.
After Capital New Year celebrations, all are invited to make their way to the arena at the Eastlink Centre for the Storm game.
