Residents of Breadalbane and surrounding areas are invited to a meeting on rural health and well-being next month.
On Monday, Feb. 10, a guest from the South Shore Health & Wellness group will speak about the development of a Rural Health Centre in Crapaud, and attendees will be invited to discuss the health benefits and the challenges to well-being that come with living in rural P.E.I.
Follow-up kitchen table conversations will further explore ideas for improving health and well-being.
Support for this project comes from the Wellness Grant Program of the province’s Department of Health and Wellness.
The gathering will take place at the Breadalbane Community Centre, 4023 Dixon Rd, Breadalbane at 7 p.m. with a storm date of Feb. 11.
