Award-winning Fiddlers' Sons perform in North Rustico, P.E.I., July 21

Keelin Wedge, John B Webster, Courtney Hogan-Chandler and Eddy Quinn of the band Fiddlers' Sons will host The Egg Farmers of Prince Edward Island Close to the Ground Concert Series at  Kaylee Hall Pooles Corner every Thursday, 8 p.m., from July 4 through Sept. 26.

The award-winning Island group Fiddlers' Sons and Keelin Wedge are set to play the Cymbria Lions Club in Rustico on Sunday, July 21, 7:30 p.m. 

The band will be performing music from its recently released album, "Fiddlers' Sons The Best of Twenty Years". 

Fiddlers' Sons features singer-songwriter and local author Eddy Quinn on vocals and guitar, multi-instrumentalist Keelin Wedge on fiddle, mandolin, guitar, bass and vocals, singer-songwriter John B. Webster on guitar and vocals and Courtney Hogan-Chandler on fiddle. Together, they play a mix of original and traditional favorites that celebrate Island life with their signature Maritime sound. 

The air-conditioned and wheelchair-accessible Cymbria Lions Club is located at 2184 Church Rd., Rustico. There will be a 50/50 draw and ice cream sundaes for sale. 

Copies of Fiddlers' Sons new CD and Quinn's book of short stories, "Island Characters", will also be available.
