A Tribute to Lady Singers of our Century heads to North Rustico, P.E.I., Aug. 25

NORTH RUSTICO, P.E.I. — Cymbria Lions Club will be hosting A Tribute to Lady Singers of our Century on Sunday, Aug. 25, starting at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is $12 at the door which opens at 7 p.m.

For the past four years, A Tribute to Lady Singers of our Century has been filling churches and concerts halls across P.E.I.

Artists portrayed are Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Reba MacEntire, Anne Murray, Patty Loveless and Rita MacNeil. They are performed by Jolee Patkai, Jacinta MacDonald and the newest member of the group, Colleen MacPhee, along with Judy McGregor and Joan Reeves, who are also hosts of the shows. 

Besides the music, there is comedy from The Bell Sisters - Ding and Dong.

The show promises to be a night of laughter and a time to relax and enjoy the great songs made popular by these artists.

There will be a 50/50 draw as well as canteen service.
