CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The 2019 Christmas Stars Concert for QEH, set for Nov. 17, and hosted by Judy MacLean with guest co-host Blair Dewar, will feature a variety of entertainment.

Proceeds support the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.

Taking the stage at the Jack Blanchard Centre, 7 Pond St., Charlottetown, will be the Charlottetown Legion Choir as the opening act, under the direction of Travis Boudreau. Also on the bill for this 10th annual concert are the Stiff Family Bluegrass Band, a six-member group who sings and plays various instruments. 

In addition, P.E.I.'s country gentleman Lester MacPherson will perform, along with Maritime champion fiddler 13-year-old recording artist Amelia Parker, Island songstress Susan Campbell with Peter Burke, Jo-Anne Ford and Michael Buell, country singer Dylan Ferguson, comedy singer Emmett DeCoursey, the Judy MacLean Dancers (Isabelle Saunders and seven-year-old Breagh White), Colton "Elvis" Matheson and more. The sound tech is Tom Barnes.

Tickets are $12 at the door beginning at 5 p.m. The concert gets underway at 6 p.m.
