CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Applications for the War Memorial Scholarship for Doctoral study are now available online.
IODE initiated this scholarship in1919 to commemorate Canadians who sacrificed their lives for peace and freedom.
Applicants must be a Canadian citizen, hold their first degree from a Canadian University and be enrolled in at least their second year of a doctoral program.
Three scholarships of $15,000 will be awarded for study in Canada or the Commonwealth for the academic year 2020-2021.
A letter of intent to apply indicating where they received their bachelors degree must reach IODE Canada by Oct.1, 2019, and completed applications are due by Nov. 1, 2019. Go to the IODE website or email [email protected] for more information and application forms.
