INVERNESS, N.S. — The Inverness County Centre for the Arts presents the ICCA House Concerts Winter Series, opening Saturday, Feb. 27, with a performance by Morgan Toney and Keith Mullins.

They’re among the talented musicians who will be appearing on the centre’s stage this winter and spring. Performers include Aaron MacDonald on March 13, Rachel Davis and Darren McMullen on March 20 and the Town Heroes on April 10, when they will release their latest album, “Again.”

“Our first show ever as a band was at ICCA,” said Mike Ryan from The Town Heroes. “It’s great to come back home and release an album 10 years later in the place where it all started.”

ICCA House Concerts are a music initiative for the Inverness County Centre for the Arts. As the name suggests the shows will mimic the intimacy of musicians playing in a domestic setting. Providing a safe place for events is an important enterprise for ICCA to support the local economy, as well as the health and wellness of the patrons during the pandemic.

With COVID restrictions there is limited capacity. Tickets are $30 per show or $100 for season passes, they are available by visiting ICCA’s website — www.invernessarts.com/iccaevents. Showtimes are 7:30-9:30 p.m. with doors opening at 7 p.m.

ICCA House Concerts are funded by the Municipality of the County of Inverness.
