MOUNT STEWART, P.E.I. — East Coast alt-country troubadour Gabriel Minnikin will be playing the Trailside Music Cafe' & Inn in Mount Stewart on July 14 with special guests the Laurels opening the show.
A uniquely talented Canadian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Minnikin is a mainstay in the Maritime music scene ever since breaking in with The Guthries in the 1990s.
With four albums, including the critically acclaimed “Parakeets and Parasals” and “Flower Country”, Minnikin continues to dazzle with his musicianship, melodies and lyrics.
Minnikin is described having soaring harmonies, poetic lyrics and melodies that both haunt and intrigue.
