Canadian children’s performer Fred Penner is coming to The Guild in Charlottetown on March 9, 2019.
It’ll be his first public performance on the Island in more than 10 years.
His television show, Fred Penner’s Place, aired in CBC from 1985-97 and was seen in the United States on the cable channel Nickelodean from 1989-92.
Penner has received a Juno Award for Children’s Album of the Year four times — 1989, 2003, 2015 and 2018 — thanks to songs like “The Cat Came Back’’ and “Sandwiches’’.
