Prison isn’t a vacation.

R. Kelly, however, may not realize that as he rots in a Chicago jail, complaining he is only allowed to see one of his girlfriends at a time, Daily Mail reports.

The 52-year-old is awaiting trial on sex crime charges and also faces charges in New York for his role in a racketeering scheme that allegedly involved the kidnapping and sexual abuse of girls.

A motion filed Monday by the 52-year-old’s attorneys, argues it is “not right” that Kelly is restricted to seeing one of his girlfriends every 90 days.

According to the Mail , the motion reads: “His visits are severely restricted; presently, he is only allowed one unrelated person to visit.”

“In other words, although he lives and has lived with two lady friends, only one of them is allowed to be on his visiting list, and after 90 days he is required to switch,” the motion continues.

“No other friends or professional colleagues are allowed to visit. That is not right.”

According to the Chicago Tribune , the I Believe I Can Fly singer’s attorneys asked the judge to reconsider the decision to grant him bail as well.

Kelly’s lawyers also argued he should be released for health reasons, involving an untreated hernia, numbness in one of his hands, and anxiety.

In addition to charges in Illinois and New York, Kelly is also facing an investigation in Minnesota.

Federal prosecutors in the Ilinois case claimed to have three videos showing Kelly rape a 14-year-old girl where he can allegedly be clearly seen and heard mentioning the girl’s age 15 times on one of the videos.

According to the Daily Mail, if convicted in Illinois alone, Kelly faces a 195-year prison sentence.
