An Americana opus that was four years in the making its way to P.E.I.
Del Barber will perform at The Trailside Music Cafe in Mount Stewart on June 4.
“Easy Keeper”, the new record, was produced by Barber and Grant Siemens and mixed by Scott Franchuk. It is a hauntingly personal and celebratory collection of songs, weaving variations of roots and folk music into a revelatory listen.
Songs like “No Easy Way Out” and “Louise” highlight Barber’s storytelling, this record is a testament to how he moulds his empathetic creative process.
With nominations for Juno Awards, Western Canadian Music Awards and Canadian Folk Music Awards, Barber has shaped the folk music canon in Canada with five critically acclaimed studio albums under his belt as well as a myriad of fans.
