Country Legends perform in Charlottetown Oct. 23

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The Ceilidh in the City will celebrate some of the greatest country music artists of all time when they welcome the Country Legends "Men of the Century" on Wednesday, Oct. 23.

The show will take place at the Jack Blanchard Family Centre, 7 Pond St., Charlottetown at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. There will be a canteen and bar service operated by the Holy Redeemer Catering staff. There will also be a 50/50 draw in support of the Ceilidh Gives Back fund which supports various Island charities and families in need.

This show has been touring across the Island for the past three years and has been receiving great revues. Four country music greats will be portrayed so audience members will be treated to the music of Johnny Cash performed by Kendall Docherty, Merle Haggard performed by Jimi Platts, Ronnie Milsap performed by Peter Burke and Gene Watson performed by Larry Campbell.

Back up musicians include Heartz Godkin, Brian Knox and Keelin Wedge. 

The cabaret setting will allow the audience to interact with the musicians during the show.
