“I would try to change the health-care system in Nova Scotia. Right now, we’re at a big crisis and it needs to be looked at immediately. So, I would definitely put a push toward helping that.”

“I would put as much of my energy into doing something about the state of the health care in Cape Breton. There’s lots of other issues but I think right now health care is our No. 1 priority for most people

“What I would change is I would make more stricter rules for conflicts of interest and other things like ethics violations. I personally believe that there should be a three-strike system. Or maybe a two-strike — just a warning and then you’re out. Because Justin Trudeau got away with so many things and he’s still there, so I find that’s a problem. There should be more stricter rules in place to prevent people in power from abusing it.”
