“So many choices. I would probably try to make abortion more accessible to women in Cape Breton, where now it’s an issue.”

IF YOU WERE ELECTED MP, WHAT’S THE FIRST THING YOU’D TRY TO CHANGE?

“University tuition is a big thing. If you look over in Germany and places like that, they’ve had really good success with their universities and having government help paying for tuition and getting people into schools and stuff like that, so that would be one of the main things I would focus on.”

DO YOU VOTE? “Oh gosh, yes. I never miss an election.”

IF YOU WERE ELECTED MP, WHAT’S THE FIRST THING YOU’D TRY TO CHANGE?

“Stop looking at the people who keep giving you money to get elected, and look at the people who actually vote, that need the money. Whether that’s job creation, or even helping out through government assistance, those are the people that really need the help and they’re the people you really need to be looking at.”
