In Canada, WWME presents marriage enrichment programs in English, French, Spanish and Korean languages.

mission of Worldwide Marriage Encounter is to proclaim the value of marriage and holy orders in the church and in the world. Accordingly, WWME leadership teams consist of a priest and a married couple.

“Together, we can be a portent force to build a stronger church and a better world,” said Father Michael Basque, a member of the Canadian ecclesial team.

Ana Lilian and Ernesto Ayala, the leadership couple of the Canadian WWME Council, said coming to Prince Edward Island for the Canadian council meeting is a way of demonstrating unity with and support for the WWME family in Region 1, which encompasses the four Atlantic provinces.

“At the same time, our annual meeting will focus on ways we can continue to serve our mission throughout Canada.”
