The Prince Edward Island Genealogical Society welcomes Louise Morris as the guest speaker at its upcoming public meeting.

Morris will present “Breaking Down Brick Walls using DNA”. Her presentation will explain how this has been made possible through DNA testing. Anyone who already has their DNA results or if they have wondered how DNA testing can aid in genealogical research, will be able to benefit from Louise’s experience in solving several challenging cases.

The meeting is being held at Beaconsfield’s Carriage House, corner of Kent and West streets, Charlottetown, on Feb. 23, 2-4 p.m. For information, email fredchorne@gmail.com, call 902-675-4791 or check out the society’s news and events at www.peigs.ca.

All are welcome. Admission is free and refreshments will be available.

The meeting is also a great opportunity to network with others and support genealogy and heritage by considering a membership in the society.
