Spring is in the air with Charlottetown’s parks and recreation department, and registration is now open for a number of programs.
A ball hockey program, which goes April 10 to May 18, will focus on skill and development and will include mini games each day. Groups will be divided according to age levels which will dictate what time that particular program is run. Age levels include 5-7, 8-10 and 11-12. The cost, which includes a T-shirt, is $40 for city residents and $55 for non-residents. Registration is now open online as well as in person at City Hall. Space is limited.
Registration is also open for fitness sessions running from mid-March to early June. Programs are for all levels and include classes for adults and seniors at the West Royalty Community Centre, Park Royal United Church and Trinity United Church.
Seniors’ registration is $40.25, and adult evening class registration is $69 for city residents and $86.25 for non-residents.
Morning classes at the West Royalty Community Centre will be $67.85 for city residents and $80.50 for non-residents.
