Photography event supports P.E.I. Humane Society

Daisy, a Beagle/Shih Tzu mix, stayed at the P.E.I. Humane Society and was featured in last year's 12 Strays of Christmas. Photos of pets will be taken at the P.E.I. Time for Skippy to slip into the ugly Christmas sweater.

Professional photographer Louise Vessey will be aiming her camera at cherished pets in the P.E.I. Humane Society’s annual Santa Pix fundraiser.

Photos will be taken at the P.E.I. Humane Society at 309 Sherwood Rd. in Charlottetown from 12 noon to 3 p.m., today and Dec. 2.

The cost is $30 (cash only) per digital photo sent directly to email.

No appointments are needed. All dogs must be on a leash and all other pets must be in carriers.

Guinea pigs, hamsters, rats and rabbits have been photographed in the past, as well as dogs and cats.

Al proceeds will go to support the P.E.I. Humane Society.
