The Martha Spirituality Centre will host its annual Advent retreat on Saturday, Dec. 1, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., on the eve of the First Sunday of Advent.
Advent is a special time of preparation to celebrate the incarnation, the birth of Jesus as a human person into the world. This year’s theme is “Kneeling in Bethlehem” which invites participants to reflect on the nativity events and how they relate to their daily lives.
Facilitator Sr. Regina McQuaid, CND, who is a member of the Martha Centre team, will lead the reflections. The cost is $30 payable on Dec. 1 and participants are asked to bring a brown bag lunch with tea/coffee/juice provided. To register while spaces last, call 902-367-3103 or message email@example.com.
