Exhibit features work of Summerside Art Club

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. —

A new exhibit by the Summerside Art Club, entitled “Transported”, will be on display beginning today at Eptek Centre in Summerside.

All are welcome to attend the official opening on Sunday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m.

There is no admission fee for this event, and refreshments will be served.

On display in the lobby is Music P.E.I. Album Art, featuring the album cover artwork from this year’s Music P.E.I. awards nominees from categories that recognize new recordings. Visitors can also listen to this year's nominees as part of the exhibit.

The centre is open Tuesday to Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday (closed on Feb 17). Also, patrons are asked to note that due to upcoming renovations, hours may vary.

Admission is by donation. The on-site gift shop carries only Island art and craft, as well as books on local themes. Don’t miss the permanent exhibition on the history and architecture of Summerside.
