Donations helps QEH pediatrics unit

Greg MacKenzie, left, and Tania MacKenzie, right, owners of MacKenzie Produce, along with Nancy Russell, second right, present the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation with a gift of $1,035. The funds were raised through the annual “Callum’s Sunflowers”, in memory of Russell’s son, and will support the purchase of a stadiometer for the hospital's pediatrics unit. The equipment measures a child’s height with pinpoint accuracy, which is one of the factors in determining the treatment dosage for pediatric oncology patients. Accepting the donation is Holly Morrison, nurse co-ordinator in the QEH pediatrics unit.
