The 55+ Winter Games have begun in Charlottetown and to mark the occasion, host committee chairman Cecil Villard, Charlottetown Mayor Philip Brown and 55+ Games Society President Dhuey Pratt raise the Games flag at City Hall. The Games, which are held for individuals over the age of 55, began on Monday and will run until the afternoon of Feb. 23. A variety of sports such as five-pin bowling, cribbage, darts, pickleball and hockey will be taking place during the Games. For more information, visit: pei55plusgamessociety.ca/. - Contributed
