The third animal to be profiled in the 2017 edition of the 12 Strays of Christmas is Sassy, a shy three-year-old tortoiseshell shorthair cat. She can be skittish at times with loud noises or fast movements, so will need owners who understand her special needs. Sassy is shy and calm girl who wants a home just like her, nice and quiet.
Adoption Tip #3: If the new cat is timid, start slow. Limit them to a single room or small area at home. A bedroom or office is an excellent choice. And sleeping in the same room with you is a good way for your cat to develop a bond with you without feeling anxious that you might approach her when she’s not feeling like interacting with you.
