DEBLOIS, P.E.I. - The bilingual business mixer slated for Wednesday, Jan. 9 in West Prince has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Jan. 16 due to the inclement weather in the forecast.
West Prince business people are invited to the Acadian-style informational business mixer at the Centre Acadien de Prince-Ouest (French school community center) in Deblois from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Participants will learn about two internship programs – PERCÉ and LIENS Work Experience – that could provide them with a subsidized employee.
They’ll also hear presentations on the Francophone Ignition Contest and the Stepping Stones to Success program.
The free, bilingual event is presented jointly by the West Prince Chamber of Commerce, the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of P.E.I., RDÉE Prince Edward Island (the provincial francophone economic development council), Wellington Rural Action Centre and the Conseil Rév. S.-E. Perrey Inc.
The evening will include finger food and Acadian music and a cash bar service. A number of door prizes will be drawn.
