Newcomer Tatiana Mizerina holds up two of her P.E.I. fox mittens, which won Best New Product of 2017 in the P.E.I. Craft Council’s Buyers’ Market at the Delta Prince Edward last weekend. The mittens were a hot seller around Christmas time and are made with 100 per cent wool from MacAusland Woolen Mills in Bloomfield.

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - The 19th annual Craft, Art and Giftware Buyers Market will be held in the Delta Prince Edward Convention Centre on Jan. 11, 1-6 p.m., and Jan. 12, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Buyer’s Market is the spot to find the P.E.I. crafts, giftware and food products to supply retail galleries.

Twenty-four well-established vendors and 22 new vendors will make this the most diverse wholesale market yet.

Find new mediums, techniques and prices to suit all tastes and budgets.

The market has a large variety to offer, including pottery, jewelry, glass, paper, books, CDs, pens, children's toys, bath and body products, leather, textiles, woodworking, painting, photography, greeting cards, tea, preserves, sauces and more.

The market gives retailers the first opportunity to view and buy wholesale, order new products for the 2019 season and reorder best-sellers.

Normally exclusive to retailers only, it will be open to the public 3-5 pm on Jan. 12.

For more information or to take part as a vendor or a buyer, contact the P.E.I. Crafts Council at 902-892 5152 or [email protected].
