CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - One of Atlantic Canada’s oldest hospitality companies recently announced a renovation and re-opening of a property in Nova Scotia.

Rodd Hotels & Resorts will get to work on the former Rodd Colony Harbour Inn hotel in Yarmouth, N.S., in January.

This multi-million-dollar project is expected to be completed in the summer and will potentially employ up to 50 people. The 65-room hotel is located adjacent to the ferry. Several opportunities are also being reviewed for the former Colony Restaurant space.

Rodd is also eager to continue the multi-million-dollar renovation for the Rodd Grand Yarmouth Hotel & Convention Centre. Renovations resumed in September and will continue until May to complete phase one of the project.
