French-speaking entrepreneurs in P.E.I. will have a chance to compete for a $25,000 prize in a contest to help launch a new business project.
RDÉE Prince Edward Island previously held similar competitions, but this year negotiated with Innovation P.E.I. to provide a $25,000 Ignition Startup Fund prize specifically for a francophone entrepreneur.
The contest is aimed at francophone or bilingual entrepreneurs who want to establish a new business, launch a new product or service or expand into a new line of production.
Contestants will have seven minutes to present their project to a panel of judges.
Anyone interested in entering the competition can find the application at Rdeeipe.org/ignition.
