DP Murphy Inc. is adding to its list of Wendy’s restaurants on the Island.
Danny Murphy, president and chief operating officer, said in an email the hope is to open the newest one on St. Peters Road in Charlottetown (next to Leon’s Furniture) in December.
A sign was recently put up on the site to announce the construction.
This will be the company’s fifth Wendy’s location on P.E.I. The company also has 11 Wendy’s franchises in Eastern Ontario and 13 in Quebec.
Murphy added that the St. Peters Road location will be a standalone restaurant, which typically employ about 40 people.
