Young francophone workers can earn both experience and money in a variety of jobs in the Evangeline region this summer.

The Hard Workers Youth Services Co-op is looking for young co-operators aged 12 to 17 to tackle a range of services based on their skills.

The workers will need to observe measures, such as social distancing, in place due to the pandemic.

For now, the co-operators will only be able to do outdoor jobs, which could include mowing lawns, painting, gardening, carpentry, washing cars and cleaning open garages.

Youth are typically hired for a few hours or days at a time.

As members of the co-operative, the young participants will also have the opportunity to establish and manage a board of directors; create and manage various sub-committees; manage the co-op’s budget; promote and market the co-op.

All training and meetings of the various committees will take place via Zoom online.

Those interested in participating need to fill out the application form. For more information, contact Stéphanie Blanchard at 902-388-8460 or [email protected].
