Customers line up at P.E.I. liquor stores before coronavirus concerns force March 19 closure

As of Thursday, March 19 at 2 p.m., all 17 liquor stores throughout Prince Edward Island will be closed until further notice.

This comes after an agreement between Dr. Heather Morrison, the province’s chief public health officer, and cabinet that liquor and cannabis corporations are not an essential service during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
