The Brandvan recently made the fourth stop on its journey to “drive good across the country” in an effort to make Canada the global leader in the socially-responsible, purpose-driven sector, meeting with Big Brothers Big Sisters in P.E.I.

Brandvan is a social impact program, connecting creative professionals and forward-thinking corporations with social good groups. The national program aims to elevate brand awareness for Canada’s charity and social impact organizations through creativity and storytelling.

Co-founders Keith Jones and Vickie Hsieh are driving the Brandvan mobile content studio across the country to meet with one charity or not-for-profit group in each province and territory to support 13 unique initiatives. Each group will be matched with a team of volunteer remote creative professionals who provide free creative services related to brand, campaign, spatial design, and other areas.

“Our mission is to use creativity as a vehicle to connect and advance communities,” said Jones.

So far, nearly 20 creatives - varying from graphic and video designers, web developers to social media and brand managers - from across the country have volunteered their time to support Brandvan and the charities participating in the program.

The Brandvan started its journey this summer with the team documenting its story on @thebrandvan, including the build of the van taking Jones and Hsieh across the country. They will continue to share along the way to help promote social good across the country.

“Stats show, corporations that ingrain purpose throughout their business model are more successful,” said Jones. “We recognize and want to empower all Canadians around their choice, power, value and the importance of choosing good.”
