The recent family benefit Mega-Bingo in Abram-Village raised $1,397 to help out the Summerside Salvation Army Food Bank and the Tyne Valley Caring Cupboard.

In addition, participants got to share more than $4,000 in prizes that had been contributed by various businesses and organizations.

Again this year, several economic development and co-op sector organizations partnered to organize this bingo as a social event for Co-op and Small Business Week.
