SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. - It was over early for the Georgetown Clory Construction Eagles after the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces scored five, first-period goals en route to a 9-1 win on Sunday in Summerside.

Tignish went to 9-4-2 in the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League, while Georgetown dropped to 1-13-1.

Dawson Sellick (2), Will Tuplin (1-1), Matthew Bowness and Brayden Handrahan (1-1) scored in the decisive frame.

Chance Pitre added a hat trick on a shorthanded goal and two power-play goals over the second and third periods. Truman Ellsworth finished off the Tignish scoresheet with a third-period score.

Ethan Yorston, from Isaiah Mahar, netted the Eagles marker.

Kristen Clemens earned the goaltending win.while Ryan DesRoches (five goals) and Lucas Cann (four goals) split the duties for Georgetown.

Tignish outshot Georgetown 40-22 and went 3-for-6 on the power play. Georgetown was 1-for-6 with the extra man.
